Job Description

The Accountant is responsible for accurate and timely recording of accounting transactions, performing monthly close processes, preparing reconciliations, as well as other accounting functions. Additionally, this role provides leadership within the accounting group as well as financial support to members of the management team. 


In this role as the Accountant you will:

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of accounting transactions.
  • Perform various accounting functions, including but not limited to customer invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, G/L journal entries, accruals, financial reporting, etc.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and analysis.
  • Perform monthly close processes and monthly financial reporting.
  • Assist in forecasts, budgets and financial analysis
  • Support financial audits, prepare schedules and provide documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
  • Monitor internal controls
  • Maintain documentation of accounting processes
  • Provide accounting insight and leadership to team members.

Job Requirements

Your experience and background include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a CPA and or MBA/ MA is preferred.
  • 3-7 years of accounting experience.
  • Knowledgeable in U.S. generally accepted accounting principles
  • High level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet assigned deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working in a global environment preferred.
  • Occasional travel may be required
