Overview

This position is responsible for customer account as it relates to daily scheduling and coordination of facility activities relating to customer products.

 

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that the customer's requirements are met through communicating with customers, carriers, and in turn liaising with supervisor and foreman on the shop floor with regards to processing, production, detailed data entry, inventory, and reporting.

Job Description

 

  • Ensure that activities support EPC objectives.
  • Acts as company representative to customers and carriers, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
  • Coordinates account activities, priorities, and status with shop floor personnel and carriers.
  • Update business systems (WITS system, spreadsheets etc.) accurately and in a time frame that meets or exceeds internal and customer key performance indicators (KPI's).
  • Monitor preservation/ maintenance schedule on a daily basis
  • Update the WITS/ Customer system to include: invoicing, process status, scheduling, and completion status
  • Maintainingcustomer master codes, lots, accessories, machine models and billing codes in WITS database.
  • Ensure that all relevant documentation is accurately completed and current/ Work orders
  • Ensure that all written (paper or email) requests from the customer are assigned and returned once completed
  • File all documents (both hard and soft copy) in the relevant folders/filing cabinet
  • Ensure that your work area is clean and tidy
  • Maintaining the highest quality standards as per the company requirements.
  • Act as a role model for the WoW processes and procedures within the site
  • Verifies shipments, vehicle movement, location, status, and billing systems, and vehicle inventory.
  • Maintains ship information files.
  • Monitors vehicles in hold status, and coordinates special vehicle requests.
  • Enters product receipts into relevant systems; verifies accuracy of information.
  • Performs reporting and analyzes results - Communicates status and exceptions to EPC personnel.
  • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to include but not limited to: Assignments and Allocations, Work Orders, Releases and Tenders, Released Not Shipped, PET, and Completing Accessories
  • Providing assistance and back-up to ensure that FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) documentation and admissions are made as and when required
  • Maintain and update operator and desktop manuals/ SOP's as required.
  • Perform duties in other areas as required

Job Requirements

  • FTZ and Terminal US Customs and knowledge of cargo management experience a plus.
  • General Office skills required.
  • Must be willing to work outdoors.
  • Computer knowledge a must, proficient in MS Office.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, handling and prioritizing multiple tasks at once.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to perform in high pressure and dynamic situations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are imperative.
  • College Degree preferred.
