  • Overview

    As Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the administrative functions for the WW Solutions Vehicle Processing Center (VPC), located at the Port of Savannah, ensuring that customer and operational standards are met.

    Job Description

    • Ensure that activities support VPC objectives.
    • Acts as company representative to customers and Third Party Logistics Provider, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
    • Responds to customer service inquiries concerning account activities, priorities, and status.
    • Coordinates account activities, priorities, and status with mfg. personnel and Third Party Logistics Provider.
    • Ensures vehicles are processed in a timely manner.
    • Verifies shipments, vehicle movement, and vehicle inventory.
    • Performs wholesale functions through timely resolution.
    • Coordinates vehicle movement.
    • Maintains vehicle inventory, tracking, location, status, and billing systems.
    • Coordinates special vehicle requests.
    • Monitors vehicles in hold status.
    • Enters product receipts into relevant systems; verifies accuracy of information.
    • Performs reporting and analyzes results. Communicates status and exceptions to Third Party Logistics Provider and VPC personnel.
    • Makes recommendations concerning new procedures and processes in order to increase productivity, responsiveness to customer needs, and      streamline current practices.
    • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to include but not limited to: Assignments and Allocations, Work Orders, Releases and Tender
    s, and Released Not Shipped.
    • Supports VPC Management by scanning and completing accessories.
    • Performs all logistics functions in a timely manner.
    • Distributes information as necessary.
    • Cross-trains and performs other administrative functions.
    • Performs duties of Document Control Administrator (DCA).
    • Orders office supplies and equipment as needed.
    • Other duties as deemed necessary. #CB

    Job Requirements

    ‚Äč• One year experience in customer service and inventory control procedures preferred.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to interface with customers and employees.
    • Basic math skills are required.
    • Must have strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be proficient at an Intermediate Level in MS Excel and have a working knowledge of MS Windows and Word.
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Previous accounting or Inventory control experience is a plus.
