  • Overview

    As a Payroll Processor, you will have responsibility for processing weekly non-exempt payrolls for multiple sites.

    Job Description

     

    • Process a weekly payroll using Kronos timekeeping system to payroll system.
    • Review and verify payroll reports for payroll for accuracy prior to requesting authorization.
    • Audit and complete data entry of information into the payroll system (garnishment, direct deposits, overtime calculation, terminations)
    • Process payroll data, new hire information, termination calculations, employee tax data updates and general deductions.
    • Review the supervisors daily timekeeping in Kronos Timekeeping system for production employees and contract labor.
    • Prepare payroll for contract labor for processing to finance and staffing companies.
    • Maintain various excel spreadsheets; multi column/row and formula based.
    • Maintain the electronic and paper payroll files.
    • Assist with company audits.
    • Respond to payroll inquiries.
    • Human Resources support functions, such as employee communicates, facilitation of meetings, tracking of evaluations, employee access to site, etc.
    • Projects as deemed necessary.   #CB

    Job Requirements

    • 3+ years timekeeping/attendance systems, Kronos timekeeping system experience a plus
    • Intermediate to advance Excel skills.
    • System savvy - able to quickly learn our HRIS, Payroll & Kronos systems.
    • Knowledgeable on wage garnishments.
    • Very detail-oriented and accuracy driven: Specifically, in data entry and auditing.
    • Excellent time management skills; accustomed to meeting tight deadlines.
    • Good organizational skills; must be able to handle multi-tasks in a busy HR environment.
    • Ability to work cohesively and effectively with a variety of departments and levels of personnel in multiple locations.
    • Excellent communication skills required.
    • Highly motivated.
    • Ability to handle confidential information.
