    This individual works very closely with the Quality Assurance Manager who is responsible for Quality at all Keen Facilities but reports directly to the Facility Manager. The position requires the individual to be reliable, organized, detail and deadline oriented.

    Job Description

    • Responsible for the Quality of all work performed at the Facility to include Receiving, Storage/Preservation, Exercise, Installation/Removal and Modifications, Welding, Paint, Pre Delivery/QA, Final Inspections and Shipping.
    • Confirm that quality standards meet or exceed customer requirements. Maintain communication with both internal, (Keen Customer Service, Safety, and Quality) as well as External Customers that may include daily, weekly, monthly meetings, requiring direct interaction with customers during Audits and Visits.
    • Experience in the assembly, modification, and fabrication of equipment.
    • Schedule work assignments and participate in the evaluation process of personnel, commendations and disciplinary actions
    Ensure that Inbound/Receiving Inspections are done according to Keen and Customer standards, within the required period and pictures are taken if necessary.
    • Ensure that all Storage/Preservation and Cocooning meets or exceeds customer expectations  look for solutions and revenue generating opportunities.
    • Ensure that machine exercises and 90-day inspections are completed/documented correctly, within the required time frame and any issues are communicated/corrected.
    • Ensure that all shop work performed meets or exceeds customer and Keen expectations.
    • Ensure that all Outbound/Shipping Inspections are completed and documented correctly for quality and piece count; pictures are taken as required.
    • Conduct Audits regarding the above to ensure we are meeting Keen and Customer Expectations.
    • Perform Time Studies as requested.
    • Review and Audit the work orders associated with all of the above to ensure all costs, time and materials are captured.
    • Monitor jobs and work orders to ensure that quality standards are being maintained. This will involve a physical inspection of work performed, review of work instructions to ensure that they are being followed correctly, inspection of welds, and verifying items are correctly torqued and marked accordingly.

    Although this position does not have any direct reports, there will be daily interaction with employees, giving them instructions/directions, training and assistance on how to meet Keen and customer requirements. Therefore, the position requires strong leadership skills in team building, goal setting & achievement, communication, strategies and change management.

    Job Requirements

    This job operates in a professional shop/yard/office environment.� Frequent exposure to the elements (such as dust, dirt, rain,) and chemicals (such as fumes and fluids) occur during operation of construction and agricultural equipment, cranes, forklifts, welding, painting, etc.� This position will utilize standard office equipment such as computers, phones, fax machines, and printer/copiers.


    1. Able to climb, stoop, crawl, bend, stretch, lift and carry
    2. Able to walk the yard area for purposes of inspection and identification of machinery and or pieces.
    3. Able and willing to work outside all year long in all reasonable weather conditions.
    4. Ability to satisfy the physical requirements of the job listed below:
    • Completing a full workday walking and/or standing
    • Perform work from a wide range of positions including: standing, sitting, bending , reaching, kneeling, reclining, and climbing� on scaffolding or ladders
    • Sufficient hand and arm strength to un-package package and inspect parts.
    • Conduct work responsibilities while exposed to dirt, dust, and fumes from the operation of construction equipment, cranes, forklifts, etc.

    This is a full-time exempt position. Working days and hours are Monday through Friday 7:00a.m.to 5:00p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

    Overnight travel as required.


    • Experience operating construction and agricultural equipment, as well as lift trucks and cranes
    • Basic PC literacy. Familiar with Microsoft Office products including Power Point, Excel and Word, and able to effectively communicate via email.
    • Ability to locate and use manufacturer websites as a reference source for machine configuration as well as Parts and Service Bulletins, Parts Books and Training Materials.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of employees and management.
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Must pass NIDA 5 drug screen as a condition of hire.
    • Regular and punctual attendance as required.High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • At least 1 year experience in a supervisory/training role
    • Knowledge regarding OSHA and company safety policies
